@Joan: yes, I will definitely enlarge on this subject, for a matter of fact, the next part of this discussion begins to go deeper into it, and there is much more to say about this!

@Suzann: thank you very much Suzann!

@Barbara: thank you for your nice words about my blog! Oddly enough you can buy the deck at Amazon but they do not show any images of it. It took me a moment, but then I did find some great big pictures of the Diamond Deck and I see your point! The colors and how it is done does invoke specific moods on each card.

The association is such an important point, hopefully you will enlarge on this greatly - its really what the ego is all about isn't it? Comparison, rejection, acceptance . . .

Just wanted to say best wishes for your new blog, it looks great! thanks for the link to the info about colour too. I use a variation of the Rider-Waite deck called the Diamond Tarot, specifically because of the colours and patterns added to it, it becomes a language all of its own to me!

I agree, Joan - the way we associate things can keep us prisoners, if we haven't learned to break away from old habits, or scripts from childhood. I suppose it can liberate us if we don't let ourselves be chained to the past, and allow ourselves to develop and be connected to new associations as we grow older and (hopefully) more mature.

Congratulations on your new venture, marlyse! You're going to be great. Your blog is aimed at helping people, and that it wil!
